Square Washer / Square Flat Washer – A thin, square-shaped disc with a center hole, engineered for high-load fastening applications where maximum load distribution and pull-through resistance are critical. Unlike round washers, the square geometry provides superior anti-rotation stability and a larger bearing surface per fastener. Manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel (A2/A4), and hardened alloy steel. Available in metric (M4–M36) and imperial (#4–3″) sizes. Compliant with DIN 436 (wood constructions), DIN 434/435 (taper washers for U/I-sections), DIN 440 (square hole for timber), and ASTM F844 (general use). Surface finishes include plain, zinc plated, hot-dip galvanized, black oxide, and Dacromet. Ideal for timber framing, concrete flooring, structural steel connections, electrical grounding systems, and heavy equipment mounting.
