Threaded Wood Inserts Nuts (DIN 1624 / Type D / Type E) – High-strength threaded inserts designed for wood, MDF, plywood, and composite materials. Manufactured from zinc alloy (die-cast), brass, carbon steel (zinc-plated), or stainless steel 304/316. Available in hex drive (internal hex socket) and knife thread designs. Ideal for furniture assembly, ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture, cabinetry, drawer pulls, display cases, and woodworking applications where repeated assembly and disassembly is required. Sizes available from M4 to M10 (metric) and #8 to 3/8-16 (inch). Self-tapping design ensures quick installation with standard Allen wrench.
