MALAXY offers self-tapping screws in carbon steel (grade 1022, classes 4.8–10.9) and stainless steel (304, 316, 410). Thread-forming and thread-cutting types available. Pan head, flat countersunk, hex washer head styles with Phillips, Pozidriv, or Torx drive. Ideal for automotive, electronics, sheet metal, HVAC, and plastic assemblies. Custom finishes and OEM supported.

Overview

Self-tapping screws create their own mating threads when driven into a pre-drilled or pre-punched hole. They eliminate the need for pre-tapped holes or nuts, reducing assembly time and cost.

MALAXY manufactures two main types:

Thread-forming screws – displace material, no chips, ideal for plastics and soft metals.
Thread-cutting screws – remove material, precise threads, ideal for hard metals and castings.
